What is UX?
UX – User Experience is the process of creating relevant and significant experiences for the costumers, conquering them. Basically, these are the emotions the user feel when using a product, system or service. To achieve that goal, UX Designers study the human behaviour and the offered service, so that they can improve clients’ satisfaction and loyalty.
It’s essential to know that UX is not only design and product development, but also involves all the client’ steps, from the moment when the client finds the brand until the after sale. For example, when using a website, the time the page lasts to load affects the user experience.
You must know 3 fundamental principles:
Utility: how useful is the service for the client;
Ease: how easy and quick is using the service and if it allows solving what the user needs;
Pleasure: how enjoyable and interesting is using the service.
What’s the importance of UX?
UX is important, because is values the user experience, from the buying process until the information exchange. The company must ask “how can this be better for my client?” and work on that answer, so that the client feels good and keep contacting the company. Regarding to the use of a website, it doesn’t matter if it’s pretty, if then people don’t know how to interact with it. User should be able to easily browse your website and understand how to use it. On the contrary, people won’t return.
And when there is a problem? Let’s verify the example of the 404 Error – Page not found. Any user get frustrated when Page 404 appears! Facing a problem like this, you must correct the error and work the most creative and honest way to keep the client.
UX is the key to success. The better the user experience, the higher will be the satisfaction and the more probable will be conquering them. User experience must be intuitive, enjoyable and useful.
